lol i was just seeing if u made that up, or they were actually talking about it..kool..also referring to the topic....black on black is definatle more of my taste..i dont know what it is but if i see a black on black car i just go damn...then if i see a nice black car and it has like chrome, or gold rims, i say damn, that woulda been so much better in black.
just my .02

I think a few people mentioned it, but I agree that if you want to do gold on black then you need a polished lip to tie it together. I almost want to say that the polished lip makes the gold wheels "relevant" to the look of the entire car. Actually, if it wasn't for the silver door handles I think completely gold or bronze wheels would look good, so for me to go without a polished lip I would have to get my door handles painted to match the car. (btw, I have a black z too).

I really like the look of Keno Star's Z with the gold/polished Challenges because they also have a lot of silver/polished areas.

IMO if you want black wheels to look good you need to get a polished lip as well...otherwise, there just isn't enough color variation on the car's profile for my taste. I really think that Hyperblack is the best color to bridge the gap between classy and aggressive for a black Z.

Good luck with your choice, man. I imagine it's a tough decision when you are dealing with $3000 or so.
