Will Pwr- But what metal is exposed from shaving that wouldnt exposed already??
Basically the material around the whole inner fender is painted from the factory..if you shave away it will cut into the edge and shave away just that area of the paint. Its not a big deal, but just either touch up paint that area or use some sort of clear to coat it

Roll the fender and add in some camber and you won't have to worry about rubbing. Before I sold my last set of tires I had a 275/30on a x10.5+11. Now I have a 275/35 on a x10.5 +17 and have plenty of room for more tire.

I think rubbing should be the least of your worries as long as you can make a few adjustments to work wround it! Here is a picture of my 19x9.5 +22 with a 5mm spacer and a 245/35 front and a 19x10.5 +22 with a 5mm spacer and a 275/35 rear.

I am planning on doing a 255/35 front on the next set of tires and keeping the 275/35 rear. I think I will be getting a 10mm spacer as well to push the limits

Now I think I'm going to go with 295/30...if I roll the fenders, how much negative camber would I have to run? I'm only dropped on Hotckis...

I am not sure exactly how much camber you would need, however you can tailor that to what your tire needs are. VRT has done well witha 285/30 front and a 315/30 rear!!

drumma022,
Hey, just wondering what type of 5mm spacers are you using? Also, is it necessary to use extended wheel studs?

The wheel studs are some generic brand we have at the shop here. I would say 5mm is the most you could go on the stock studs since there are only a few threads available to pull down onto.

Are those 18's? There is awful a lot of room in the rear. Is the car lowered?

Take a look at these.(350Z member: Nitrouz) F19x9.5 +17 & 19x10.5 +18
