Default Axis Matrix Rims/ TCS issue

Does anyone have traction control problems with large rims and tires? I just bought the Axis MAtrix (f) 20x9 and (r) 20x10.5, Tires: Falken grb-fk451 255/35/20zr, 285/30/20zr, and they look and drive great. But sometimes when taking a sweeping turn or making a quick turn the traction control activates more so now then with the stock rims and tires. It seems to stay on longer and come on when there is no real reason. Does anyone else experience this or issues with traction control?

04 touring 350z auto w/ manual shift

Thanks for any input

It's the tires, same complaint at this thread here
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ght=slip+light
and here

Your backs need to be at least .5" taller than your fronts
In your setup, the backs are .3" shorter than the fronts

A 255/30R20 on the fronts should fix this.

Discount tire has a calculator
http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos
you can check the numbers with, just put the front tire in the "old" slot and the back in the "new" slot and check the overall diameter. If it's less than .5" it could be trouble.

Smile Thanks Chris, kcobean

You both basically gave the same remedy. Thanks, now I just have to get the dealer or the manufacturer to replace them....
