Default Pilot PS2's vs aftermarket Potenza PE50A's

I've seen the treadwear is 220 on the Pilot's which beats the Potenza's the water traction and hydroplaning resistance is slightly better, but is the extra $150 per tire worth it to get the Pilots? I have also heard that the Pilot sidewalls flex too much making the cornering and steering response not all that great at times.

Will be going 305/30/19 on the rears. Cheapest I've found for each is $319 per for Potenza's and $445 per for the PS2's. Need to get a quote from Discount Tire Direct too

appreciate the input,

I haven't driven mine hard yet to notice if the steering response is less than the Potenzas were. In researching tires, I don't recall seeing anything negative about the handling of the PS2s. I can tell you that they are a lot quieter than the Potenzas were.
