1) you bought the wheels USED. you did not just buy them from Work and find a crack fresh out of the box.

2) they were made in 2004... that makes them what? two years old? your ricer freind with his S2000 or whatever probably hit a pothole and I'm guessing he has a rock hard suspension, lowered, etc. giving the wheel no leway and forcing it to absorb the shock....

3) why would they say that they woudl help you out, to turn around the next day and "give you the finger" what are you forgetting to tell?

don't post up some misleading BS and scare people. you know of any other Work's cracking? I sure don't. clean up your story and don't forget to omit things. talk to the vendor your freind bought them from... or did he buy them used as well?
+1 on this. I just bought my WORK wheels and you are accusing WORK of having bad customer service?

Just as a side note, I would NOT want to drive around on a wheel with a "repaired" crack!

I think he meant replaced, not repaired.

I can't speak for all models of wheel that Work makes but my Work Emotion CR's were made, boxed, and shipped from japan and I have all the paperwork and invoices to prove it. As for being "cast" then YES. They are cast but the casting process they use make them as light and strong as some other companies forged wheels. How many people do you know with a set of volk wheels that need to have repairs done due to crack or bends.

Work wheels make outstanding and race proved wheels. They don't make crap. I wouldn't buy crap and I'm sure the race teams that use this very same wheel wouldn't buy crap either.

Like I said... It sucks that your wheel got cracked but I still feel like there is something your not telling us.

Something being left out. A wheel doesn't normally crack like that unless you do something to it.
