Default Since I stirred up all the trouble...

in this thread... https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/188563-in-this-thread-i-will-tell-you-why-i-m-gonna-buy-rota-p45s-instead-of-nismo-wheels.html

I'll have pics when the car has the wheels and tires mounted and balanced for all you guys. It'll be on a REDLINE Track Z. And the wheels will be gloss black/red lip.

SubyDude was very nice with customer service so far, I got a good price on the wheels and should have them on in about 10-14 days. (ordered the wheels today, they will be shipped tomorrow most likely and it's about 1 week for ground shipping from CA to PA - Then tire mounting and balancing and the car will be coming back from the body shop).

So I hope you guys stay tuned.

reason was twofold...
#1 - To show I wasn't just a front or someone put up to it by Rota and I'm actually BUYING the wheels.
#2 - To serve as a placeholder for when I actually get them and can take pics.

Is that just in case the forum runs out of room for new threads? I could see how that could happen here with all the useless threads people start. Maybe I'll start 10 new threads as placeholders and when the forum runs out of new threads, I can sell them and make a killing

Cool Guy
Well by placeholder I meant place of dicussion/place to ask questions about Rota wheels. I thought people here would be smart enough to figure that out. However, some would rather make smart remarks than ask intelligent questions, but to each thier own I guess.

if you want a place to talk about Rota Wheels you should not use that type of heading.. "Q/A About Rota Wheels" would be alot better..

Thats a great point about having a relevant thread topic.

Later, if someone was interested in "Rota wheels" and did a search and this topic was returned, they would probably skip right by it. So sad, considering it's going to have some great information about the p45 wheels some day.

I'm interested in seeing how these look on a redline.

I'll let you know man.
Subydude had a little debacle with shipping so they weren't in today like planned. They'll be in wednesday. I have the tires sitting in my house currently.
265/35/18 in front and 295/35/18 out back. Toyo T1-Rs. I like width

I also like your car quite a bit dude. Very nicely executed.
