Default Need tire info!!!

I'm planing on getting a set of 19"x9.5" and 19"x10.5" TE37's. What size tires should I get and what kind of tires should I get? I plan on using them just for the summer, so they'll see some rain. Also What offset whould be good? I like when the TE's concave in! Sorry For all the questions.

I have posted Consumer Reports test results 20 times. I’m sure that members are tired of seeing the same chart again and again.

If you want the concave look get 19x9.5 +22 & 19x10.5 +22.. I have the Toyo T1R 255/35 & 275/35 tires and love them...

This thread has pics and details on my LE37T's:

If you can afford them, get the Michelin PS2's, you won't be disappointed.

To some extent, the "best" tires depend on what you want to do with them. Toyo's are popular, but they have a thin, softer sidewall so you get an improved ride, but they aren't as responsive as the OEM and some other brands.

The Goodrich KDW2s are real popular amoung the drag racing guys, very good grip. They tend to run a little wider so I was worried about fitment. I've had people tell me that the Goodyears are the best thing in the world and others curse them as the worse. My past experiences with Goodyears kept me from even considering them for the Z.

I read all the reviews (Car & Driver, Grassroot Motorsports, various online ones) and they all told different stories. It just depends on the application, i.e. daily driving, performance driving, autox. I live in an area that gets occasional heavy rains and the OEM Potenza were scary when wet. I also do AutoX and will be doing some HPDE events so I wanted something that excelled in that respect. For me, it came down to a choice between the KDW2's and the PS2's and the PS2's won out.

Go with Pilots PS2.
Pricey but I personally love them, and could never consider another tire.
