Default which combo would you use

I've decided to put 245/40's on the front. For the rear would you guys run 245/45's or 255/45's. These are for the stock Anniv. rims which are 18x8. Does anyone run these combinations presently?

I ran the 245/40, 255/45 combo and wouldn't do it again. IMO the sidewall of the rear tires looks too much bigger than the front this way. I would run either 245/45 or 255/40 in the back.

Thanks guys for your response. I've seen at Tirerack and other places that the 255/40 size is recommended for at least an 8.5 rim.

Let's say I wanted to run 255/45's for the rear, how would 245/45's be for the fronts?

255/40 WILL fit on a 8" wheel! Don't do the 45's, it will look like truck tires!

man, I've been reading the tire threads on all of the Z forums today and it looks like with these rims, you don't have a whole lot of options other than the stock set-up. The possibilities for the fronts seem to be the stock 225/45, 235/40-45, 245/40-45 and the rears seem to be the stock 245/45 or 255/40-45.

Would anyone like to give a suggestion of what they feel the best combo would be? I would really appreciate it.
