Default Best offset for Volk LE28

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase volk LE28N's in 18x8.5(F) and 18x9.5(R). I will be running 245/40/18 tires on the front and 275/40/18 on the rear. What is the best offset for these wheels, keeping in ming I may lower the car and will definitely be tracking it? Thanks.

+15 seems pretty aggressive for 18's. Will it clear a BBK? Most of the quotes i have gotten have been closer to +30.

+15 is aggressive but will sit pretty flush with an 8.5 width wheel up front. i wouldn't recommend that offset with an 9.5 width up front though. as for bbk, it all depends on each wheel and spoke design.

if its 8.5 up front you wont go wrong with a +15, it will be flush...

What type of track will you be running on?

I have LE28Ns with +25 front and +28 rear. This is my street setup. I would recommend those. They clear my oem Brembos and I'm lowered .6" I run 255/40 front and 275/40 rear.

Depending on how much you track (road course), you might consider running 9.5" +28 on all corners. You can run 275/35 fr and 275/40 rear or 275/35 on all. That's my track setup (but I run 9.5'" +30 LMGT4s) w/ Falken RT-615s.

I will be running mostly autox with a couple track days thrown in. I have found a pretty good deal on 8.5 +30 (F) and 9.5 +28 (R). How would this setup work for the track?

Those should be fine. might want to check Rays' website for their sizing charts http://rayswheels.co.jp/indexe.html just to get an idea what they say will fit.

According to Rays, those offsets should clear the stock brembo's. I have a performance model, so it will definitely fit now. I am just curious if it will clear a bbk in the future.

A bit off topic:

Why run 9.5 all around for track? Is this a better setup then 8.5F/9.5R? Or is this more of a "More tire on the ground" concept?

Rays don't offer +15 for 18x8.5 CE28N

recommanded size for that width is +25 & +22

This will also clear BBK or OEM brembo..
