I run Michenline pilot ps2 sport, and they look very good.

I had Yokahama but I like Micheline better.

 

anyone have any pictures with gts on 245 and 275 tires, i ordered a set of gts and just seeing if it looks decent before ordering new tires.

bsurdam I am running 245/275 on mine. they are stretched a little but not to much. the rears rub slightly but mainly b/c I have not rolled the fenders.

yes I did not read Andy's post about maintenance and Volks
used a reputable car care company safe for all including clear coated wheels cleaner and it hazed the lips, then had some caliper issues
so I hand brushed them. oddly enough I look at the pics i took of them new and they were never as shiny/polished as some others
I am now debating/trying to find someone to powercoat them to match the car, leaving the centers gun metal

 

hey guys didnt know where to put this in the wheel and tire section or the exterior section.so move it if its necessary. anyway i have a few questions and requests.

i have the nismo LMGT4 wheels 18" and goodyear eagle F1 tires on my chrome silver 350 and am wanting to get the vertex body kit. I was looking at the Volk GTS 19" wheels and thinking that would look good with the Vertex kit as well. so heres my questions.

1. Does anyone have pics of the vertex body kit on any color(preferably chrome silver) with either the nismo LMGT4 wheels and the Volk GTS wheels.i want the mercury silver volks if i get them. but i have never seen a 350 with a vertex kit with either wheels on it. so any pics will be greatly apreciated. and comments are welcome.

2. i konw about how much i will pay for the vertex body kit and paint(im gettting the whole car a respray of the same color(chrome silver)). but how much will i have to pay for a set of the Volk GTS 19" wheels?? new and used??

3. if i get the Volk GTS 19" wheels; what else besides tires and TPMS do i need? and do i need wheel spacers, and do i need to roll the fenders??

5. What tire size do i need with the Vold GTS 19" i dont want my wheel to be wider than my tire. but i really dont want it sticking out of the fender. a very little is ok. but not much. dont want it to look like the drag camero with 13" slicks on the back. and what are the offsets.??

4. i want to get suspension after all of this and im liking the Tein Flex with the edfc. i think its pretty cool how you can control it in your car. I dont track my car. only the occasional racing the annoying honda next to me or other cars. but i dont race much at all.

5. and does anyone recommend a good tire that is really good in the wet and the dry with a fairly low profile but not to low profile because we have a good bit of potholes here in South Carolina.

6. and how much should i sell my nismo wheels for if i decide to sell? the wheels and tires have less than 4000 miles on them. and they are in perfect condition. i wax them 2 times a month. and was them along with my car every sunday. and they are in mint condition. i paid 1650 for the wheels and over 1500 on the tires. there goodyear eagle F1 ultra high performance summer tires.

7. and anything else u recommend or want to tell me. and all comments are apreciated. and thanks for helping me with the questions.

and my mods are Hks HI power exhaust, crawford HFC, nismo wheels and the goodyear eagle f1's, nismo cold air intake, pure plenum spacer, carbon fiber side z emblems, and a shorty antenna. i wil post some pics of my car later if anyone would like to see how it is now. thanks!!

and please shoot me some pics. even pics with just the wheels on a car or the vertex kit. or photoshoppers will be greatly appreciated. thanks again.

and one more thing. i dont want to roll my fenders. i want teh GTS wheels in 19". what size tire should i use and what are the offsets of the 19". i know the fronts are 9.5 and rear are 10.5. will they stick out of the fender well? adn like i said i might be lowering my car a little maby an inch or so. will they be sticking out when i lower the car.??(i know i have to get a front and rear camber kit so i dont loose my tires). thanks

i was wondering if i got the Volk GTS wheels and got the 19" 9.5 front and 10.5 rear put 255/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 rear would i need to roll the fender. or i could get 245/35/19 in the front and the same in the rear if the 255's would rub. i dont want the tire to rub and i dont want to roll the fender. would those sizes work.??? and do i need spacers if i drop the car around an inch?? just wondering.

so if i got teh GTS wheels 19" would i need to roll the fender with the tire sizes listed above. and also will i need spacers??

im getting the vertex body kit if that would make a difference. thanks!!

how many inch can you lower with 19x10.5x295 rear rims and tires and did you slightly roll or agressively roll your fenders.
