With all the folks that recently ordered iForged wheels via the group buy, it would be great if you would post pics as soon as possible after you get the wheels mounted. I'm sure everyone will want to see them.

Vince, if you're listening, how're the orders going? And, because I'm self-centered, how is my order going (curious because of the smaller lips I chose to go with)?

 

I'll post mine as soon as I get them. Hopefully not much longer.

When I talked to Vince, it sounds like he was "cutting" wheels last week and this week for the 350z group buy.

I bet we start seeing them in a week or so.

I ordered my wheels about a month ago. When I spoke w/ Vince the rear wheels were complete. They were waiting for something for the front wheels. Eventhough my G35C won't be here until late April I took advantage of the Group Buy. You guys on the 350Z Forum have been a great source for information. I wish we could do a 350Z & G35 meet sometime in the spring/summer. Thanks again guys...

It sucks that I'll be one of the last to get my wheels (cause I jumped in at the end of the preorder), but it will be sweet to finally see some Iforged's on a Brickyard (mine!)

We send out two sets already, everything else was being cut last week, and most of it will all be finished on Monday or Tuesday morning. Then they will go out to get the finish, since the majority of the people picked brushed aluminum, that will take almost up to a week, and then they will get clearcoated and shipped out.

Vince, what is the inner rim diameter of a 19" wheel in ref for tire psi monitor bands?

It depends on what was ordered.

If you have a 8.5 with a 2.5" lip the iner diameter will be 6.0

if you have a 8.5 with a 2.0" lip then the inner diameter will be 6.5

If you have a 9.0 with a 2.5" lip the inner will be 6.5"

if you have a 10 with a 3.0" lip inner will be 7

if you have 10 with a 4.0 lip then inner will be 6

and so on and so on

 

wouldn't that be width?
I meant diameter, or actually circumference. a 19" diameter rim would have an outer circumference of about 59.7", but what would that circumference be at the middle of the rim. i.e. would it fit within the range of a 17-20" band (53.4 - 62.9" circumference)?

Looks like you and I will be the only ones w/ upgraded wheels on the next Z meet--mine should be here this week,..but tires not till the 1st

you got 19's?? or 18's
You order tires yet,...Tire Rack is on backorder for S0-3's(19's)

But mine should be on by the next meet!

Did you also order some Iforged or did you go with something else? I went with 18" wheels and wider wheels on the back. I'm happy with the way the car feels and did not want to go 19". Heard some others say that you can tell the difference from the 18s.

From what Vince told me, I should have my wheels here by the time of our drive. It'll just be a matter of getting some rubber mounted before then. I hope I can swing some SO3s like you (I'll have to see if 18s are also on backorder). If not, I'll probably just swap the lesser RE40s that came on the car for now.

oh yeah,..I'm on the list I believe-
I would have liked to get a Cheaper tire but I went w/ 19inch VOLK GT-C's(see sig) and S0-3's are the only ones that make the sizes I got(see sig again)

Mine will be on by then for sure,..I'm just hopeing my other little ext mods will be ready--got the NISMO"look" wing & custom Front lip--springs hopefully in by then---but I'm gonna have tio get the **** painted now!
