Default Nexen Tyres

I just put some stock size Nexen tires on the back of my Touring M/T 350 & so far, so good. Cost me a whole $89 a tire ! I had just put my 2 free front tires from Nissan on the front yesterday. The mechanic said he would look for some deals on rear tires, as mine were getting bald quick...last Dragon trip took a toll on them He found these Nexen tires on clearance @ a place called heafnet.com. I saw them on some other site for $106 a piece. They ordered them yesterday & had them here today. Put them on & took on road test, good & sticky, very aggressive look. I did not see that they make them for the front though But, I just wanted something to wear out while I'm still rolling on stock set-up on front. The bad news is they chip one front rim & marred the other. Back came out fine. Wish I had my own tire machine @ home. I feared that would happen, realy sucks!

I got Dunlop Direzza DZ101s and am pretty happy with them. Currently have 1400 miles on them and they are still quiet. You'll probably want to match the rear tires up with the fronts with something similar, if not the same model.

I wanted to get these tires due to the price but unfortunatly they don't seem to make any large enough for a 10.5 inch wide rim. :-(

What type of wheels are you running? Did not see any in your mods? If they are stock 18's, how is fitment. Do the tires stick out past wheel wells? I have an 04 Touring M/T with stock 18's. Just would like to know any issues before going that wide on stock rims? Thanks for any input you may have.

These sound like a great deal. How noisy are they after some miles get put on them?

My bad, I missed that, not familiar with all the diff brands of wheels yet. Thanks for the feedback, I may put the same set-up on mine. I love the ones I have on the rear so far. Don't have many miles on them & haven't put them through hard paces yet? But, what I have experienced so far is quiet & sticky. Thanks Again, Sunset
