Cheap tires? If you ever have a accident do you blame yourself for being cheap. Check out wet braking distances to evaluate a tire's quality......20 extra feet [deviation] from 50 mph is normal across the price ranges.

I would think people would take out a second mortage/job if necessary to run the absolute best finest tires available in a sporty car.

But then everyone's standards are different.

AH my kuhmo ASX's are here. They run average on the profile...so a 40% profile looks like 40. Some run higher so 40 looks like 50 and others run low so 40 looks like 35. It looks perfect for a 18'' setup.

 

Some pics of them on your xd-9's would be killer. i too am considering the xd-9's but am thinking 285/35-18.
