Default Need CHEAP summer tires

What are cheap summer tires? I have a budget of about 600 bucks..ish.. I have to get them for these wheels:

18 X 10 +18 R
18 X 9 +22 F

I'd like to maintain stagger, and i have TCS so that has to be taken into acct. I'd like a 285 in the rear/ 255 in the front or 275 in the rear w/ 255 front. Thanks!

Check out Kumho Ecsta MX. I got all four shipped to me for around $700 from Tirerack.

I really like the Kumho tires. I ran their ASX for winter/rain and they stick great.

I checked those out. The reviews say they have 'horrid' wet traction and that might be a problem. What is your opinion of those? They're very attractive tires for the price though.

Any vendor who sells them here? I read on another post they're good. I'm liking the kuhmo's though...

275/35/18 would open up my options a lot but im afraid of running a 275 ona 10 inch rim. The stretched look looks nice but i want saftey and protection over looks, especially on a daily driver car/wheel (work emotions). Any opinoins

Recommendations from Consumer Reports.
I would rather than you did not go cheap. Cheap + rain + tight turn will put you in a ditch. That said, look at Kumho and Sumitomo above.

Let me make sure everyone knows this: i dont go over 45 in the rain even on the highway lol.
I think im liking the kuhmos.
Ok now last question..
275's look stretched on a 10' tire or no? Most people on this board either go 9.5 w/ a 275 and it looks nice or a 10.5 on a 275 which looks stretched a little..

tires differ in size's a toyo 275 will be different than the Kumho 275, some 275's look like 295's. I think a 275 will fit fine on your 10" rim though.

I do think you should get a set of summer tires and a set of foul weather tires though.
