20" Gold Gt-c On Ppw
20X9.5 FRONT ET20 255/30/20 TOYO PROXES
no fitment issues at all even 265/30/20 will fit for sure
20X10.5 REAR ET22 285/30/20 TOYO T1-R
we played it safe and cut the fenders on rear since i was going to be driving back home like 350 miles
the gold/polished lip combo on ppw was a no brainer to me
i was not too sure about putting 20's on a z , but since it is a daily driver so the added weight was not a huge concern
the speedometer is barely off due to 30 profile tires
the ride is not bad at all. i drove approx 350 miles on the new set up
from LA to SAN JOSE(more on that later) did not feel any different from the stock 245/40/18 front and 265/35/19 rear set up or maybe i have a insensitive butt
i shopped around quite a bit(like two weeks) but chris @ f1 motorsports made it real easy.
he had the rims in stock and quoted me the lowest price on the phone, done deal
i was so f***ing excited i could not wait for them to be shipped(even though it would prolly take like 2 days anyway) i'm weird like that(i want it now )
i just decided to just drive down to LA. it is 350 miles each way.
i'm glad i did, because i originally thought i'd leave tps off but chris mounted it on the new rims and it works like a charm(no trip to the dealership needed)
i've had to cut/roll fenders on my last couple of cars and it is real scary.
if your are not a pro you can f**k up the paint real easy.
once again chris came thru, cut both rear fenders in like half hour and put a clear coat on to prevent rust
it was cool hanging around the shop, s**t load of sick *** rims on display and there were plenty of high end cars to drool over
here is what i can remember
cls55
s550(new body)
m3(looked like it had the csl front bumper and a crazy *** carbon fiber trunk)
range with 22's
gs430(new body with one off kit)
6 droptop
anyways all said and done i was thrilled with the outcome
enough talk here are some pix
