Default 285/30/20 on a 10.5 wheel?

I finally got my new wheels and tires (Axis Matrix). The tires that I got with them are 285/30/20. Is anyone else running this size tire on a 10.5" wide wheel? It looks to me to be a little streched. It looks as if the wheels in not being protected by the tire at all.

Front 20x9 255/35/20
Rear 20x10.5 285/30/20

Anyone running this setup?

The front tires are 7.50mm taller than the rear.

I run 285/30/20 on 10.5 on my G and it's fine. It could be the brand of tire; some are wider than others. I'm running Michelins. Also, you might want to consider changing your front to 255/30/20.

285/30/20 toyo t1r on 10.5 gtc
as you can see the tire lines up with the rim almost perfectly

also like others have mentioned try to run 255/30 in the front

cuz you don't want the front tires to be bigger than rear due to vdc

I don't drive a Z anymore but I do drive SC430 which runs similar set up as Z.

I use to have 20x10.5 Maya GR5 running 285-30-20 Dunlope SP9000.

Here is the pic
