After many PM's and a couple calls of me bugging Rick, I finally decided on a new set of 19x9.5/19x10.5 Volk GT-V's in Titanium gunmetal along with tires. About a week later, the Fedex guy dropped off the wheels at my house. I just couldn't wait to unpack them to get a good look at them. While 3 wheels were perfect, the front right wheel had what appeared to be a couple smaller holes through the protective cardboard which didn't look good. Sure enough once I removed the cardboard cover it had serious dents on the edge of the lip, ugh... It appeared that whoever was handling the wheels at Fedex must have thought that it was just a tire and probably rolled/bounced it off a truck. Or worse, who knows.
I wasn't sure what to do at this point and wasn't even sure if Status would take back the wheel since the tire was already mounted. I was already thinking of what wheel repair shop to take it to if it came down to that. I PM'd Rick to let him know I got the wheels and also mentioned about the damaged one. To my surprise, Rick told me he actually had another set of GT-V's in Titanium coming in! I just needed to take pics of the damage, pack it up and send the wheel back to him and he would deal with Fedex. I got the replacement wheel and things are great!
Rick was very patient with me and always quick to answer PM's and I always got hold of him on the phone. This is truly how you take care of a customer. I couldn't ask for more and I was a very happy customer in spite of the delays from the Fedex mess. I would not hesitate to do business with these guys again and would highly recommend ordering from the guys at Status Auto Design, excellent customer service!
