Default 06' Tire question

I have an 06' enth. and was wondering if 265 would work in the rear.

265/40/18 is pushing it on an 8.5" wheel, but should work. I would not, however put them on an 8" wheel. You can put 245/40/18 on the front 8.0" wheel, and have a nice handling "Z".

My apologies. I meant tire width. For the 8.5 inch wheel, 245mm is standard. For safety, I recommend no more than plus 20mm. So 265mm is fine.

It'll work, plus you'll get a lot more rim protection from the concave effect of the tire.

Yeah the stock tire width is 245 in the rear so I figured 265 would be ok but just wanted to make sure.
