Speaking of lowering my Z, has anyone else lowered theirs yet? I would love to get feedback from you and pics as well. I know it would look better but......

I am considering Eibachs but I have never lowered a car yet. My concerns are :

1. Will 1.2 rear and .8 in front cause a lot of hassle driving it and bottoming out?

2. Concerned about camber being off, excessive wear.

3. Handling: worst and if so, how much.

4. Factory shock wear: is it true and if so, how can i fix it so it is not a continuing problem?

5. Also considering Nismo s-suspension upgrade instead. Can anyone compare the two, pro's and con's?

car looks great !!! after talking with paul at avalon i decided on the 445 's also .i didnt feel good after talking to axis . its like everything is top secret. so i spent the xtra cash . there being made as we speak at hre . i should receive in a week or so. i have a black 350z .post pics if you get it lowered.

 

what about the sensors?

did you strap, epoxie or just leave them out?

if strapped or epoxie how they working?

 

What are the widths of those rims? 8.5 in front and 10.5 in the rear?

I have 9" ft wheels and 10.5" rears and space enough for large brakes up front.

A couple of you guys said i should lower my Z after getting my new wheels. The rolling diameter is same as the stock but now you guys think i should lower it. What is the reason now for lowering it? why lower it with new wheels and not with the old? am i missing something?

I don't think it has anything to do with the "rolling diameter"... Lowering your car would add to the beauty of your new wheels by minimizing fender gap....and accentuating your staggered wheels. Oh, and it might handle a bit better...
