hole from underside of the wheel ... can it be welded?
one of my wheels has a hole in it (from the underside). I'll try to get pics of it.
Could I weld it close and not have any issues? I know there's wheel balancing and stuff involved ... but just wondering. I know there's use of wheel weights that could help? I'm wondering if this is a standard practice or if tire shops would do this.
The wheel is not bent or anything, just has the hole from behind it after a bizzare brake issue, which is now fixed.
It's going to be a total pain to find another one of these wheels because it's old and discontinued (OZ Racing F1 Plus 17") so I'm really trying to avoid switching back to stocks all around.
Thanks!!
