Default Opinions on following tires..

My new wheels just came in, 18X9.5's rear and 18X8.5's front..

Anyone running any of these or have input? ( all about same price range
$150 some - $160 some a tire 275-40-18 )

BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW
Kumho Ecsta ASX
Falken FK 452

Thanks!

Mark

Im using Ecsta ASX. I put about 200 miles on them. They're pretty wavy but thats because tehres still too much meat on them and they're pretty soft. More grip in straight line acceleration, however less lateral grip than stock. Its probably the best tire in the rain i've driven on so far. Since you live in WA, this would be a great tire for the area. Once i get a 1000 miles on the tire, i know it'll get much better. Its pretty grippy, but its hard to judge cause theres too much flex still

YW :-D. With tires that are not bridgestone, tire pressure is more important, because Bridgestones have a very stiff sidewall, which helps w/ lateral grip and acceleration, yet doesn't do much for straight acceleration.

Not exactly part of your survey but I am running the Kuhmo SPT if snow or ice is not a factor, they might be worth a look.

I had them through our rainy season here and they did much better than stock in the wet even though they are much wider.
They also seem predictable at the limits of slip. I am at almost 9k with them now and they seem like they are wearing similar to the stocks. So far I don't have any complaints.

Yeah dont go by Kuhmos ratings. I have a 440 rating on my tires, but i dont expect them to last more than 15k miles on the rears and 20k in teh front. 440 ratings are about 50k miles
