Default Performance loss??

I just ordered a set of Volk GTC with Toyo Proxes tires. I orderd 19" x 8.5" with a 255/40/19 for the front and 19"x9.5" with 295/35/19 for the rear. I have a few questions for you guys....
- Will I be able to notice the loss of acceleleration?
- Will my braking sacrifice any?
- Will the handling be worse or better?
Also, I forgot to tell the tire/wheel shop about the VDC/TCS and tire pressure monitor - will these systems still work. What needs to be done to the new wheels when I get them. Thanks for your help, I get alot of great information from you guys.

Not unless the new wheels are significantly heavier. I seriously doubt that yours are...

Nope, it will be better. Thank your tires for that!

Better - again, thank your tires! You will have a rougher ride with the smaller sidewall...

TCS - will be fine, Pressure monitor - you will need to re-install the valve stem assemblies from your original wheels. VDC - you need to make sure your front/rear rolling diameter is with in (1 inch IIRC ???) of each other, in order for the VDC to function properly.

I just installed 19" GT-C's on mine with 255 fronts and rears and do not notice any worse performance. Wheel hop seems to be not as bad though. I think most of the extra weight on these wheels (compared to say the TE37s) is in the spokes, which is not gonna make much difference that close the the center of rotation.
