Here’s the new wheels that I got from Logan @ A spec (he’s easy to work with, quick to respond, very competitive prices, and fast shipping). I got the wheels on about 3 weeks ago but was waiting to finish my nitrous install before I washed the car and took pics.
Work Emotion CR Kai 18X9.5 +20 gunmetal
BFG KDW NT’s, front: 245/35/18, rear 275/35/18
-lowered on Hotckis springs (I’m now looking into Tein basics so that I can go even lower…there’s still too much room between the tire and fender…I should have gone with a 40 series tire to help this – but it’s too late now)
-ride: there’s more road noise now, but that’s to be expected from the 35 profile tire. Traction is much better and it’s much more difficult to get the rear end loose.

Look sgreat. Logan is a nice guy to deal with! I bought my lugnuts from him (rays duraluminum :-D )
You might want to do 245/45 and 275/40 next time to make it look more even. If you do 245/40 275/40, the rear looks a lot meatier than the front

look nice
it will definitely look better with the coilovers - no spring is going to give the car the right drop for a 35 series KD in an 18 - on other tires, you can get away with it. Sidewall height is like tire width - it can vary greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer, as there is no industry standard. Not all 275 tires are 275mm wide (as the number is supposed to correspond to), and as such, the aspect ratios also will differ.
A 45 front/40 rear is just the wrong sizes to be using - its going to look like a balloon up front.
