Will this work w/ VDC???
I am going to be putting DR's on after work to head to the track. Am I going to be ok with these tire changes?
Current
(F)245-40-18
(R)275-40-18
New
(F)245-40-18
(R)275-35-18 (DR's)
I am not going to put them on if my VDC flips out on me because I am going to run these for a few weeks.

BUMP!!!
Anybody?? Someone has to know...
Also, how bout 245/40/18 with 285/35/18.
I've seen both setups on diff cars here on the forum, but I'm unsure if any of them were equipped with vdc/tcs
Did the math on both, and both are within 3%. But I'm trying to figure out how sensitive vdc/tcs really is.....

Some have said it is possible to run all four the same size while others say it causes SLIP on long sweepers at speed.
Nowhere that I have seen has anyone reported being able to run smaller diameter backs compared to the fronts. 275/35R18 is -.14" smaller than 245/40R18.
285/35R18 should be .13" larger than 245/40R18 but it's tough to say if it will negatively affect your car.
Also, among different tires, even of the same brands, these measurements are more of a guess than definitive. For instance the tread of a stock 235/50R17 tires are wider than stock 245/45R18 tires. So with numbers as close as .13", running them may be the only way to tell if they will cause SLIP
