Default SO3 Level of Grip but More Milage?

What tyres have S03 level of dry grip but last a bit longer?

Need to fit 19X9.5 and 19X10.5.

I was looking at BFG KDW2, thoughts?

falken ST615 have the most dry weather grip on a street tire, they're chepa and last aw hile. KDWs have good grip, in wet and dry.

S03's handle amazing, Ive had 6 sets of tires in the Z-here is my breakdown.

Handling winner - S03
Straight line grip winner - Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3
Best of both worlds above - BFG KDW II Stiffer sidewallas than Eagle F1's, good straight line traction but not quit as much as the F1's with their softer sidewalls.

I currently run BFG KDW II's and Im not running any tire again, best IMO overall (280 tread wear), look great, and are reasonable. Good luck.

Oh and I disagree on the Falken comment they suck my left nut

Really? My buddy at school just put falkens on his supra and they grip nicely.

Next time, im going w/ KDW NT... I cheaped out this time cause i didnt wanna take a big hit w/ new rims and tires. But I'm definately switching to KDW NTs in a year or two.

I had S03's and just went to Falken RT615.

Falkens don't come in 19 inch, so scratch that. Falken sizes are also funky. I'm running 245/40/18 and 275/35/18 on mine now. In all other respects, the Falkens own the S03's on my car - FAR more comfortable, much quicker turn in, and alot quiter. Plus lighter by around 22 lbs for the set. My S03's did ok mileage wise...we'll see how the RT615 do. The Rt615 leave me with alot more confidence than I had with the S03 as well.

Murray - have a look at the new R01R's, should be available locally

How can a tire offer the exact same grip yet last longer under the exact same conditions? Friction is the tearing away of molecules from the tire and the road.

Magic rubber/polymers have yet to be invented.
Something has to give or be traded away..........most learn to live [drive] with a bit less extreme friction.
