Need to choose some tires, please!!!
Hi guys!!
I´m going 19´s in my Z, but not sure about what kind of "all season" tires will be best, this are my 2 choices:
Toyo T1R: http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_lines...s_car/tr1.html
Goodyear F1 GS-D3:http://www.goodyeartires.com/eagle/e..._features.html
Any help guys?

I have the GSD3's. The are great in the dry and awesome in the wet. The softer sidewalls (than RE04's) result in slightly less steering response but better ride comfort and no tramlining. My rear tyres are now down to the wear bars and the tyre noise is significantly less than that which I experienced with the RE040's. BTW, despite the high treadwear rating of the GSD3's (280 from memory), I've only gotten about 20,000km out of the rear tyres, where as I got 27,500km from the RE040's (rating of 140) and I tossed the bridgestones with a few thousand km to go as they got unbearably noisy.
When worn down to the last couple of millimeters of tread, the GSD3's lose their grip, just like all tyres, but still not as slippery as the RE040's in the same condition.
BTW, I think Road and Track magazine (or some other performance US mag) did a test of about 10 different tyres. The GSD3's came out on top, but that had a lot to do with their wet weather grip.
If you're after just high summer grip, go with the Yokohama Advan AD07 or the Bridgestone RE01R.
The GSD3's are a great all around tyre as they don't do anything badly.

If you want the most bang for the buck, go for AVon MTEch 550's. The ride and noise is much improved over OEM and they look pretty aggressive. If you are a weekend warrior or a brand-name dropper, you probably will want another tire however.
I have had the Avons on for about 6000 mi and am pretty happy, no real wear issues. Also a set of Avons will cost you about half of the Goodyears.
