Tenzo Quality? Good or Bad?
I am looking at the Tenzo GF7 wheels. I like the design and all, but I have read several posts where some people have bashed Tenzo in the past, but maybe their quality has improved. If you have a "lesson learned", or a good experience, please share it before I spend a couple thousand for wheels and tires. Oh, I don't do any track days or anything like that, just normal street use in SoCal.
Well, like most affordable cast wheels they will bend easily on impact. My cousin had a set of the Passion 5's, both front and rear wheel bent the size of a quarter while hitting a pothole at roughly 45mph.
The upside is the wheels did not crack or shatter putting the car in a dangerous situation.
So to sum it up: It seems like an OK wheel for light street-use avoiding potholes. BUT I wouldn't trust them on tracks or on rough roads.

Some cast wheels bend, some crack, hell some do both.
Even forged wheels can crack depending on impact.
