I have the iForged Aeros (5 spokes) on order (should get anyday, picked up tires tonight), withOUT the bolts around the edges and with a BRUSHED aluminum finish.

I can see 1, 2, 3, maaaaybe even 4 wheels out of a line-up being "similar" but their entire line of wheels is nothing short of a direct copy of just about every wheel HRE has. If there were others, ok, but there is not. Anyone can simply copy, true skill and creativity is what stand out / where it counts! And by doing that they show absolutely zero of either! Just like you both have said, we are all entitled to our $0.02, that's mine and I'm just going to leave it at that before some big ugly flame war blows up.

You say true creativity is what stands out, yes, for that company perhaps. You have an elitist attitude, but the reality is I would be willing to bet 90% of the rims people buy are even more direct knock offs than those you listed, because we are not all blessed with huge fortunes to spend on wheels. For most of the buying public, price is the second factor behind looks. If you can get something for 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 or better of the cost of the original style, that looks almost like the original, we are going to jump on it as long as the build quality is decent.

I hate to do this, but someone has to. Do you:

a) have some name brand wheels that get knocked off a lot and are bitter?

b) have a ton of money, or worse, someone else buying your cars/parts for you?

c) are you just a bitter or jaded kid who will eventually fall into one of the upper two categories but just hasn't yet?

Yeah, I'm an a**, it's what I do.

Nice wheels guys, look forward to hearing what you all think of them once you get them put on.

Nope, sporting the OEM wheels the car came with!

b) have a ton of money, or worse, someone else buying your cars/parts for you?

Not even close! Right now Im only bartending 3-4 nights a week and have class or rotations 5 days!

The furthest off so far! 25 yrs old that has been on my own longer than I can remember. Have worked since the day I turned 16. Put myself through school (twice now). But after 3 layoffs in the 5 years as a programmer I decided to completely change carriers. Almost done, 1.5 yrs to go, Radiology

Yeah, I'm an a**, it's what I do.

Pretty much the only thing you have said correct so far! Need a hand with that, can't imagine that shoes tasting to good...

Well, we can't all be right all the time I stand corrected. *spits out shoe* I know all to well about layoffs, I work in telecom. I just got a big raise and am making twice as much as what I was when I got out of the Air Force 3 years ago already, but the uncertain nature of my field is the main reason I don't have a Z yet. It's tough to go from having a paid off 2000 Eclipse GT that I don't have to spend a dime to keep, to a $36k in times like this, and after being out of work for 6 months (9 months if you count having a "making ends meat" job for 3 months of that) just last year.

Just surprised you have such a strong opinion on the subject with none of those factors being the case is all. To each his own. That said, while your opinion is your opinion, seems you've been a bit hard on those who choose to flex their opinion and go that route. Again free speech and all, but you get the point.

rodH - You are the man. Nice display of HRE and iForged differencess. I believe that if you can get similar product/quality for a cost that is lower, then so be it.
I think that since everyone is trying to compare iForged to HRE, that is a HUGE compliment to iForged on their design and quality.
I too like the iForged look better on most of the wheels.

Hey Vince,
BTW the new wheels look real sweet.
Is this 2003 line up in addition to the FS line that you have currently, or is this the only wheels that are available now? The reason I ask is that I dont see any mesh style wheels in the 03 lineup (i.e. Seneka). Just wondering. I am way happy with what I should hopefully be recieving by UPS today.
Thanks - Tony
