yeah, i work at a tire place as well. we use this method a lot when we have leaky valve stems and insteading of taking the tire of and having to rebalance, we just use the arm. just depends on the tires. I've worked with probably every tire out there right now. A lot of the non runflat goodyear tires have very stiff sidewalls, These tires take over 70 psi just for the bead to seat.
