Holy ******** Tuesday Batman! Do not make that trade. That would be one of the worst trades in the history of wheel trades.
You must understand that you currently own one of the most popular wheel/tire setups for the Z (pending offsets). That set that he's trying to trade you is a joke. Horrible sizes for the Z.
What are the offsets of your wheels? I'm guessing your tire was rubbing the control arm. You could wait around until it's time for new tires and probably solve the rubbing issue. Or you could sell/trade the front wheels and tires for a bit smaller pair.

Hello all, I need you guys opinion. I have matte black Volk vr g2 18x10.5 square set up with 275/35/18 all around Toyo R888 race tires. I bought them off a dude on CL for $2800 in mint condition. The 18x10.5 in front seems kinda extreme, had to get spacers so it wouldn't hit the control arm. Anyways 3 rims are mint, 1 has 1cm curb. Some guy on CL selling his set of Volk CE28 Time attacks for $2100, hes willing to trade (he said we can meet and test fit). But I'm not so sure on the offsets of his rims. He has..............
Copy Paste from Ad.
Bolt Pattern - 5x114.3 / Staggered
Front - 7.5 + 50 - Yokohama S Drive 225/40/18
Rear - 8.5 + 52 - Goodyear Eagle F1 255/35/18
Need input on the 18x7.5, because stock is 18x8 and 18x8.5. Is the 18x7.5 not wide enough, will I lose performance, Etc. Thanks guys. First post I know, but I would very much appreciate the input. THANKS!!!

Need help!!
The tire shop change the tire on one of my VOLKS SF-CHALLENGE wheels and the popped out the center cap. The washer that was holding it is now cut and they weren't able to put the cap back on the wheel.. So I'm now stuck trying to figure out what to do.
Do I just need to find the washer and put it back on, then simply put the cap back on? Do you guys have any instructions for putting the cap on?
I can't believe this happened

Your wheels are useless, sell them to me for 1/2 off. Srsly measure the rings of your non broken caps then search for a cheap cap with the same ring, or hit up hardware store.

haha, you got yourself a deal. do you want the car
i think that might be the backup plan. my fear being though that the other one will also rip or something.. but it's worth a shot. i've hit up 3 hardware stores, and none of them have anything that size. i'll keep looking. the only place i found that sells the thing is below, but they sell all 4 new caps for $159, which is the ultimate backup plan but way overkill:
http://www.forgedperformance.com/sto...roductid=16710
i'll keep looking. if anyone else has gone through the same headache and know the numbers and specs, please let me know
thanks
ps mod, do mind if i put this thread in the main forum? i'm hopping it'll see more traffic
