And yeah, it probably will crack your paint. I think that's an inherent risk with fender rolling, but if it's done right (i.e. on a hot day, or by using a heat gun) and if the rolling is done gradually, the paint should be relieved enough to minimize cracking and prevent the paint from flaking off or anything. I had the fenders rolled on my previous car and I could see some light spider-webbing in the paint on the rolled portion, but it never flaked off and never progressed. I am hoping for the same result on the Z.

nono.. they claim BMW have soo mutch thicker and better paint .

oh.. i dont want that.. and IF that would happend ive heard that LMSY colour is very hard to get right if you need to do a paintjob after.

well.. let us know the result

Will do. Hopefully I'll have it all done within the next two weeks. And hopefully they won't have to roll the fenders too much to clear the 285's, we'll see.

Looks great! Yours appear to be a bit lower than mine so maybe there is hope! I'll put them on and see where it ends up. My camber is a little negative (i.e. the inner edge of my T1R's is worn down after maybe 15k miles of driving) but at least it gives me some more clearance at the top.

Always have to snap some pics of the fresh wheels before I subject them to road debris and weather and whatnot. Photography owns me but you get the idea, they are fresh and clean : )

EDIT: Anyone happen to know the center bore of these wheels? I need to buy some hub rings before I can mount these. Thanks!

LOL I'm trying. But I need to know the damn hub bore size so I can order the proper hub rings! I also need lug nuts but I don't feel like paying half a ******** for the Rays lugs so I gotta explore my options. Any ideas?

Yeah I know I want red, but I don't want to spend over $50 because IMO it's getting ridiculous. Maybe I'll give Muteki a try.

EDIT: Blueper4mancez, what is the center bore of these LE28's??? I need to buy hub rings but I don't know which size to buy! (I know it's 66.1mm ID, I need to know the OD)

Problem is that there is no discount tire around here, but hopefully the tire shop where I'm having the tires mounted will be able to give me some rings.

So my local tire shop doesn't carry hub rings because they don't commonly get people asking for them, and I need to get them myself so I'm back to square one. Anyone know the center bore on these LE28 / CE28's??????
