I think these wheels look much better then the stock 17". I also think that not everyone is into the Rays style. Im not supprised that people on this site like to flame others. Seems like this site is falling onto par with most honda forums....

Lotus,Thankz for the support & honesty.I know you took a lot of $hit from this site when you posted pics of the stillen X-haust.I wanted to thank you fo your time. The time it took to weigh the old exhaust & weigh the new one. Also, for taking a chance on purchasing the stillen, site unseen. You did a lot of foot work for me & this site. It's funny we have the best X-haust system on our Z's.Yes,Stillen X.It is funny, the same folks that will pay $1000+tire X4[over $5000] ***** about spending $1200 for the sweetest sounding system I have heard.Yet,give em a system that weigh's less & is not a true dual & oh yea, double the price & they are drooling.Go figuer.Don't get me wrong.I am happy different companys make different after market products, for different people.Hell,if any 2 of us are alike, one of us is unnecessary.I would like to say one more thing to the folks on this site:Just think, before Flamming. You do own a Z don't you?Tom PS:Lotus,Thankz again

TOMZCENTRAL, as long as you like what you got, then your opinion is the only one that counts. I think they look pretty good, way better than the stock 17's. Hope you enjoy your Z as much as I do mine. BTW, I absolutely agree with your opinion of the Stillen exhaust being the sweetest sounding system out there. Can't wait to get me an AEM CAI to get a little more aggressive sound going.

Hey R1,I could tell you stoke a bike.How?Manners.I had a new motorcycle before I owned a new car.I think it makes you a better driver. If a new driver's first 2 years of driving were on a 2 wheeler, I wonder how many would be alive after the 2 years?Think about it.Aggresive,tailgater,cuttin-off,red lite runnin, horn blowen, own the road ****.Oh well,I can dream.Thank you for your view point & keep doin what your doin,TK

Definitely agreed. Riding a motorcycle makes you a more informed car driver. I can't remember one word being said about motorcycles when I took drivers ed way back when, right there is part of the problem. Our public mindset is of the fact that motorcyclists are "guests" on the road and it belongs to the cars. This is why I stopped riding on the street after owning 3 street bikes.

Yep.I come to Arizona every winter to work & I bring my bike for some great riding. My wife & I rode to Tombstone last week with another couple.Man,it was tight. But,riding around the city of Phoenix is almost a death sentnce.Unlike fire arms, driving is a privilege not a right.Kinda thought provoking.Thankz,TK

TOMZCENTRAL, I've had a two-wheeler in the garage since I was 10. Raced local motocross till I was 17. Tore some ligaments in my knee, so I switched over to sportbikes. Been enjoying the twisty roads of south east TN ever since. Rented a Harley Soft Tail Springer for a weekend from Eagle Rider a couple of summers ago out in Salt Lake City. Got stuck out there for 3 months with work. Had to get my two-wheeled fix in. Bikes are extremely fun, but you do have to watch out for the rest of the world. Later, R1

LOL, rode MotoX til you tore up your knee, then switched to street?, man I raced MotoX and I wouldn't TOUCH a street bike, NOT cause they aren't FUN, BUT the other drivers scare the HELL out of me!! I guess on a street bike you don't tear up a knee, you just suffer from that irreversable condition called "death". I have had too many friends die on a street bike, usually the AUTOs fault, but when you are dead, all the $$ in the world doesn't matter.

BE CAREFUL OUT THERE GUYS!!

Hey Tom!
I was wondering what kind of offset and wheel size that you are running? Because originally thats what I was going to get to replace the 17s. I was really surprised that you got done! That is awesome! I think It look really good, I don't care about what other people say, I've seen some really ugly one out there!
:-)

Tom is running 18x8 +38 front with 245-40-18
and 18x9 +35 rear with 275-40-18

There are also +25 offsets available front & rear for a very aggressive fitment.

Shift_Z,Check with Todd I think the front is a 18x8 w/38 off set the rear is 18x9 w/35 ofset. The set up with Nitto 555's are great.I think the car rides&handles better & is a quieter running tire. The people that have see the car in person, comment on the wheels before I say anything.Of course they comment on the car first, wheels, then the color combo of the interior/exterior.PS:they also weigh 2lbs less on each corner than the 17's & 4lbs less each corner than the stock 18's that come on the touring/perf/enth.DTD prices & service are excellent.Thankz,Tom

Default colecat banter...

These really aren't my style....( If I infact have any)....and I didn't feel them when I looked at the posted pics, but as I've come back to this thread a few times(and more importantly - viewed the other higher res photos) they have started to grow on me. It's not so much that I would purchase them, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they look bad or whatever creative ramblings have come about in the thread. They look to have a quality finish and probably a good match for the door handles. IMO- they don't detract from the looks of the car at all and are a nice and inexpensive alternative to the stock 17's.

Congrats on successfully picking something YOU like and just say F*ck the dumb ****

ColecatZ,thankz.I like your taste in X-haust[the best].The 9X,wheels are really better in person. The stainless steel ring looks expensive & also matches the Stillen tips. The door handle, wheel match is a plus too.Hell, mabe the creative ramblers are bothered by the light or the white[pikes peak].Have a good day,Tom
