Default Getting new wheels.

Hello,

This is my first post and I would like to start out by saying that I think this is a great forum. I have an 05' Enthusiast Super Black Z and was thinking about getting the Silver 5-Zigen Hyper 5ZR (3-Piece) wheels: 20 x 8.5 (31mm offset) for the Fronts and 20 x 10 (38mm offset) for the Rears. I was going to put Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions on these: 245/35ZR20 (Front) and 275/30ZR20 (Rear). I was wondering what your thoughts/concerns are on this setup and what springs, if any, I could install with these wheels. I was looking at Tein H Techs. I really wish these wheels (3-Piece) came in 19". I love the look w/ rivets.

Thanks

What is wrong with them? Aren't Stock offsets 30mm (Front) and 33mm (Rear)? Can't imagine I could stray to far from that on the Fronts. What would you suggest?
Available off sets: Front(57, 44, 37, 25, 12mm) and Rear(38, 25, 18, 5mm)

Anybody got these wheels? What are your offsets?

Can you post pics ... my offsets are 37F/38R but I have a 3"F/4"R lip so they're still flush with the fender

What he said. If you want a nice flush fit. If you go with what you have now, your wheels will have that "tucked in" look.

Since I'm getting the 20 x 10's in Rear I thought I should counter the extra wheel width by going in a little. I wish there was an off set in between the 38mm and 25mm. It seems like going 25mm might stick out too much. Does anyone have pics of their 20 x 10s with a 25mm (or close) offset?

First and foremost, do you have big brakes or plan on them in the future?

How far out of alignment are you willing to be camber wise and are you willing to roll the rear fender lips to achieve a certain look, or do you want a pain free install?

I'd go with at least a 9" in the front.

No, I don't have big brakes and probably won't get any. I do want a pretty pain free install. Don't want to be very far out of alignment. I would prefer not to have to roll the fenders, but will if necessary.

20x9.0 LOW +25 (54mm lip)
20x10 LOW +25 (67mm lip)

Will look great - no rubbing, and your intended tires will work very nicely. It will not sit 100% flush, but, you wont run into massive alignment issues (I would recommend picking up the rear SPC kit though, but up front you'll be ok). It is just as close to perfect as you can get without having to roll the fenders and you can lower the car without worry.

Problem is those fronts are special order, though the rears are available. Let us know if we can help with the selection (color, offset, etc), as we're an authorized dealer
