Need New Wheel for Touring 350Z
I have had my new silver Touring for less than one month but have a scrape on one of the front wheels. It is not very noticeable according to my wife, but, it bugs the hell out of me!
Anyone know how much an exact replacement would cost me, and, maybe someone on the forum has an extra after replacing their's with upgraded wheels. Thanks.

You may not have to replace the wheel. There are shops around that can repair quite well depending on how deep the scratch. Some are even able to properly repair significant bends.
I do not know where you can take it to in your area, but if you look on the web or yellow pages, I am sure you will come up with several alternatives.
If you really want to replace the wheel, it should not cost more than $500.

What size are you looking for? It probabaly won't help you out but, I've got a set of 17" (5AT Touring) with stock tires NEW! (less than 100 miles on them). I'd be happy to get $800.00 plus shipping for the set. The negative side....
The shipping is from HI.

WOW! looks like I'll be living with the small scrape on the outer edge of the rim for a while. Maybe I can find someone who can buff it and match the coating? My wife claims that I am obsessing over this little scrape and should just forget about it. Not likely.

a shop can fix it, find a good tire place, not sure if chains like butler and what not do that sorta thing, but it can be done, they just kinda fill it and match it, looks good as new; depending ofcourse on how bad it was.
itll be way cheaper than a new rim... and as you probably have noticed, you can get like 4 18" rims for like only twice what a single rim from nissan pays.
so if you really wanted, you could likely buy a set for 1200, take one for yourself, and sell the rest individually to people like yourself for 300 a peice. and all is right in the world. but youd have to eat 1200$ initially and wait for 3 other people to damage there rims and pay 300$

I scraped mine a while back and after finding out that the replacement would cost 600 i decided to do the best i could....i went to wal-mart and got the closest matching touch-up paint some aluminum sandpaper and some clear nail polish. what i did was sand the area down, apply the touch up paint, let it dry then touch it up again. after about 3 layers it looked pretty smooth so i covered it with the clear nail polish fro that clear coat effect and voilah you cant see a thing different unless your about 3 ft away.
