Default 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 are getting HARD to find

WOW, looks like there really are only like tires taht come in those sizes (S0-3, T1-S and Dunlop 9000 Sport) and they are getting harder and harder to find. I seems that as 1 tire company runs out (Bridgestone S0-3) another company gets a sudden HUGE demand and sells out as well (Toyo is now OUT of the T1-S in the 275 size, and many distributors are out of the Dunlop in the 275 as well).

I was able to locate a set of 245/35/19 from 1 store and had to locate a set (thier last set) of 275/35/19 from a totally different company.

this news sux for guys that are purchasing 19 wheels for thier Zs and expecting to get them mounted in the near future.

btw, toyo said they will get more 275s in at the end of the month.

I should get my wheels by the end of the week

Got mine from onlinetires.com within 2 weeks of placing my order. I'm staring at tires but no wheels. Hoping iForged will ship 'em this week or next week. I sent Vince@iForged an email earlier about the status of my order, but have not heard back from him yet.

shawn, NOT to scare you but my vendor called TOYO yesterday and TOYO is OUT of the 275, and my not get them til the end of the month, that is why I had to go with a different vendor (that costs slightly more) who just so happen to have ONLY 2 left. I don't think 245s are a problem.

WOW, guys if you are waiting to get these tires at the last minute, you better think again. I just called the vendor who SWORE he had teh fronts, and he didn't, he called Toyo and they are on back order as well.

I did find someone else who had a few, BUT these are getting scarce.

Audra just told me that Mr. Fairlady just bought one of the two complete sets. Only one complete set left. Thanks Collin (Mr Fairlady)! I hope we can keep you in house for everything you need. (But you have to wash and wax it yourself.....hehe)

john, sorry that this question has been ignored, I don't know the answer, BUT 1 interesting note is that I put my new 275/35 next to the stock wheels/tires and even that isn't as TALL as the stock (of course it is deflated, but there also isn't all the wt of the car on it either, so it gives you an idea).

sorry I don't know

Just got my toyo's 2day. 245/40/19 and 275/35/19. They had them in stock and got all 4 for $1150. Guess I lucked out. Best of luck 2 all!

I went 40 because I want a mild drop, thinking Eibach, .8 in the front and 1.2 in the rear. I don't wanna spend money on coilovers seeing that it's $1800 I can put towards something else, like an exhaust . Everyone who I've seen w/ 35 up front has about a 1.5 inch gap. I also don't wanna deal w/ major camber issues so lowering the car .8 will hopefully give me a nice slam. I'm going to install the wheels 2morrow so I'll post pics.

This is what Volks posts on its website... for the recommended size:

FAIRLADY Z Z33

1985 +22 245/35 R19 1995 +22 275/35 R19

Interesting to note.... I saw the 275/30 19" today... on a bronze 19" TE37 on a PPW Z -- unless the car is lowered -- they look small on the rear rim.

I was so excited seeing the car.. forgot to take a picture...

I think the 35 looks better than the 30...
