Default Re-painting rims...possible?

Would it be possible to repaint rims?I just found a member selling 1 RJ J8 in gold but im in need of a gunmetal one.If so, would it be worth it as far as cost wise and looks wise (will it look good) instead of getting a new one for 500 bucks?? Thanks fellas!

Dude, just buy a new one! Too much hassle and it won't look the same! Or save your $ and drive on your spare!

maybe try powercoating, its a popular technique for rims.

and after all cost, you may be able to obtain a new one for the same price and be a guranteed match.

i saw the one you were looking at. Youd have to have the wheel unmounted to powercoat and probably to paint too, so factor in that cost as well.
