I have 18x8.5 +25 on the front, and right now im running the normal 245/40 but its just to thin for me, whats the widest possible tire I could run on it without any issues?

id like to run a 265/40 on front and keep my 275/40 in rear, would that work?

I would go no bigger than 265

 

found this quote in that thread:

"track model Rays are 8.0" F and 8.5" R, so 245s and 255s are the maximum you can fit on those widths. Of course, you can go to say, a 275/40-18 on the rear, but the actual contact patch will not be any larger and the sidewalls get badly distorted. Don't do it!"

Thanks for the link, so unless somebody states otherwise i guess 255 is the fatest i should go..
