Help: 255/40 18 on 18x8 OK?
anyone running 255/40 18 on 18x8 wheels?
All the 255/40 18 tyre I see requires 8.5" wheel.
I am wondering if anyone pushed the limit here.

You're probably not pushing it too far beyond the recommended width. Check out these threads as there has been a lot of discussions on this...
