So will Sterns really crack?

Default So will Sterns really crack?

Stern's wheels look 100% identical to Volks. They have replicas of both SF Challenge and SF Winning. They look the same, they weigh the same. The only difference is that the Volks (fixed) cost 3 times as much. That and they're not forged. But do I give care? I mean, are Sterns really gonna crack? My car's getting lowered next week and the body kit is going on in a few months. I'm not exactly gonna be flying over potholes.

the post seems to say that Sterns are more money (3x) and may be less sturdy? Is this what you ment to say or are they less money?

i know you're canadian but they speak english up there dont they? ehhhhh?

sterns arent the same as volks....since when do they have exact replicas of volks? i havent seen any sterns that look like volks. and since when do they weigh the same? youre talking forged vs cast<---------- not the same

Also Sterns do not cost 3 times more....On the average, Sterns cost around $900 shipped.

I'm sorry but have you read a damn thing on this forum since you became a member.....go search the wheels thread and you'll see that stern's will hold up fine to daily driving and normal potholes (but they are 3x less the price and 3x less the quality). If you track forget them they weigh a ton.

Volk SF Winning's like 28lbs. So are Sterns.

Why are they 3x less the quality? Plus I think they weigh 28lbs just like Volks do. SF Challenge is 28.5, is it not?

19 inch volks should weigh in around 24 - 25lbs. The TE's and LE's should weigh in around 20 - 21lbs. sterns are 30lbs+. Why on earth would somebody ever compare volks to sterns. its a insult to us volk owners. And its just not a weight issue. they are forged wheels. I bet you have never seen how rays makes these wheels. dam, the lack of knowledge people have these days and they talk like they know something.

lol, pictures do no justice. you really think sterns look identical to volks? rofl, you need to see them both in person side by side you and will be blown away by the quality difference. sterns are ok on a budget, but if you really think you're getting 100% identical, you are severly mistaken.

Ive ran Stern ST2s then traded those off for Volk Challenges. Night and day.
