Default Tpms

Looking at the rims. I thought you will have enough clearance to mount the OEM TPMS to the valve.. Just wondering why you will need the banding mounting method?

It does have enough clearance. However, the hole for the valve stem is at an angle. So if you just mount the TPS on the normal way, the TPS wouldn't lay flat on the rim. See what I mean? It'd stick toward the tire and you don't want that to happen...

Love it or hate it man... You don't go to Rickdogg's car and go +1, +10? Why? Cuz those rims need some other cosmetic mods to blend them in. Body kit is coming in and I'm lowering the car soon. So lets revisit this when it's done!

This is true, and chunking a big kit on your car is gonna make those wheels look even smaller.

I almost went for some WORK Equip 02 or 03 just for the uniqueness.. But I couldn't find anything that'd fit the Z and it's sorta a gamble on look. I've never seen those old school rims on the Z yet.

BTW, everyone told me that all WORK rims are cast and I even believed it myself until I found this on their official website.

They're actually forged according to the info here... http://www.workwheelsusa.com/wheels/

Looking at the available choices of rims for this car makes me not even want to get rims... Most of them look like they were forged from recycled toasters and look tiny as hell.

Wow.. the first post from you EVER is to criticize about my rims! Good job there! Do you know what the hell you're talking about? These are WORK rims and their quality is pretty much one of the best that you could find in the market. Get a life noob.

I believe the WORK wheel centers are cast, and the wheel barrel is forged just like the Volk 2 piece.

Hmm.. so it's a combo of cast + forge? Interesting. I'll try to verify that with Rick@Status. I'm just curious.

I believe WORK makes 2 rims which are fully forged, the SP1 and the equip.the rest of there rims are cast or a combination of cast and forged components.

Wow, that hurts....

Ive got Works and they look amazing. You just need to drop your car, and put some tire shine on those tires. I personally dont prefer the black on silverstone, but it does not look bad. I am rolling on the titanium gunmetal S1. The tanabe GF210 springs are a perfect drop IMO.
