lol... ok! Will do! I'll just burn some money on springs and get the coilovers when the summer comes.

One is for comfort. Second is that I have the TPS in there. Anything lower than 35 would give me a high risk on destroying the sensors. For whoever that said they're the "wrong size". How the hell do you define that they're the wrong size? Rick@Status suggested me 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. But I wanted to go 10mm wider.
You should have listened and gone with the 275/35/19 that size would have been correct.

OE size = 265/35/19

295/30/19 = -.33" difference in diameter

285/35/19 = +.28" diffference in diameter

The point being you never want to go with a bigger than OE sidewall or you get the effect you have now.

It's cool dude. They don't really look horrible or anything. Once I get a drop and close the fender gap, they will look good. Plus the 285/35 actually makes the tires line up with the lip and give it some curb protection. Believe it or not, the size also makes the rear tires line up perfectly with the fender. The 255/35 on the front is still a little stretch though. A lot of people running 19" are running the same size that I'm running for various reasons. I still can't agree that I went with the "wrong size" since there's no solid standard.

Wow.. I just want to say. I LOVE BLACK RIMS! I've been running with the new rims for a week and they don't look dirty at all! I'm sure it's got brake dust all over. But I just can't see it.

You girlfriend looks "aIIIIIIght". Ok.. just kidding! So what color of rims do you think looks better on a silverstone? I personally think black is the best choice since it gives it a small contrast.

I have a similar set up - gloss black le28n's (with polished lip). I'm sitting on stock springs right now waiting for my hotchkis to come in. Same color car - it's gonna look baad *** once you lower it. The rims on my car looks like crap because it's got a huge gap, it will be all goood soon.

i like some bronze and gunmetal. i dont know why but silverstone is the only color that i dont like with black wheels. usually when i see a Z with black S1's i drool but for some reason silverstone and those wheels just didnt do it for me. hey, if you love them, thats all that matters.

Like every one sles says it definatly loks good but your sidewalls are way to large! go with a 285-30 265-30 front and lower it

meisters are nice, but one thing i hate about them is the 3 step lip makes 19's look like 15's. i hate that

I hear you.. I'm sorta glad that I did the size of tires that I went with though. The ride quality suprisingly stays the same and the TPS are working fine. I was suggested that if I go for lower profile, the ride would be a lot rougher and might destry the TPS if I hit a big rock. It's a a little trade off between looking good and still being practical.

I got that same comment alot. It's one of those love it or hate it type of rims and I sure love them! They're so unique compared to all the 5,6 spokes rims out there. I almost went for some WORK Equip 02 or 03 just for the uniqueness.. But I couldn't find anything that'd fit the Z and it's sorta a gamble on look. I've never seen those old school rims on the Z yet.

Working on it! I just ordered a some body parts (new front bumper, side skirts and rear skirt). I want to have those installed first to decide how much lower I want to go. I'd be funny if I get an aggressive drop, then put the front bumper on and realize I'm 0.5mm from the ground.

Do body shops also repair curb rash?! I just curb my 1 week old WORK Meister S1... OUCH!!!! I was making a slow turn and my right rear tire slipped a bit and hit the curb. It's a little one. I think they can use the standard wash, sand, paste, spray paint, clear coat paint method. Since I'm getting a body kit and get it painted in a month. I'm wondering if the body shops mentioned above also repair curb rash. It's a little curb rash size less than an inch on the lip of the rim. How much would it cost? $100 sounds reasonable?

PS: Will it be able to have the shinny chrome color back?
