Default Recalibrate TPS Sensors!

hi,

i bought 4 new OEM wheels - 06 rays model.

i have 4 OEM touring 04 wheels that are coming off. rather than switching out the TPS sensors can i recalibrate the Z to pick up the new set of 4 TPS sensors myself?

if not how much does the dealership charge? or should i just go to a tire shop and break the bead and switch them out?

Both will probably charge you $50+ to do it. There's less risk of damage with the dealer reset as opposed to somebody dismounting and remounting wheels.

im guess if its in that price range im gonna go to a tire shop and have them switch my tires over and while their at it ill do the TPS sensors switch myself.

Consult II is Nissan's diagnostics system. It plugs to your car allowing them to test, set and control the ECU and other systems on the Z. There's also a special remote activation unit that the dealer uses on the pressure sensors.

Not sure what you mean by "I'll do the TPS sensors switch myself". The sensors are mounted inside the wheel, they can only be swapped by dismounting each tire then remounting. It makes sense that you'd have to get the tire shop to do that for you.
