Default Twheels!

I saw this on the discovery channel and thought itd be cool to post it up... Who else thinks this is going to revolutionize the way we think of tires and sidewalls.

Saw that as well. Cool idea. I also liked GM's concept skateboard.

loved GMs concept skateboard. I really think TWheels are not too far off of production especially if they are retreadable.

Yeah. Although they made it seem like the wheel itself was special, so that means only certain wheels would be able to utilize them.

I doubt the wheel is any different , it looks totally normal... they are deceptive... in wanting to seem special. lets rethink the wheel. the TWHEEL.

I have been so excited for this series. I saw those a year or so ago, and they are cool, the one thing I was thinking though was aren't they going to be kind of loud?

Agreed, I think with this technology up and coming the sidewall thickness will become less and less, coming to an eventual 45" wheels with a single Nano-tube striped tire.

I guess it could be a good thing b/c whereas a big pothole could blow a tire while this tire would maybe just break one of the reinforcements. It would still be very driveable though. It's all still probably 20 years away though.
