Here is the set of 18' G35's I had widened to 10.5' in the rear. They turned out great. I now have a set of 19' G35's that i'm gonna widen to 11' and powdercoat black or gunmetal.

The wheels are perfectly safe, they are guaranteed to be race track safe. The shop that mounted my tires was skeptical of the outcome but were blown away when they threw just the wheel on the mounting machine and saw that the wheels were perfect, not a single counter weight needed, same thing when they put the tires on. The cost, if i remember correctly was .5"-2.0" wider was 200 per wheel, and 2.5" and up was 225 per. I'm happy with how they turned out, and will be doing the same to my 19's

And yes, TAPING WAS THE WORST PART OF THE WHOLE PROJECT!

I hope I don't get flamed *flame suit on* LOL

powdercoated or spray?

I spray'd... but now I'm thinking of powdercoating them cus I e-mailed the tech guys at Mackin Industries and they said since most powdercoating takes places in a 400 degree Fahrenheit oven, it should NOT affect the structural integrity of the forged aluminum...

so crossing my fingers *crossed* I'm going to have the powdercoated the same graphite because when I had my tires installed, those idiots scratched my wheel :*(

What color is that? Are those the stock tires? Something is making the wheels look huge . Also, are you using spacers?
