Default curb rash

Well, i hit a curb today and thrashed my drivers side front wheel. I dont really know what to do. If I can find someone that can fix it i'll just do that or I might just have to leave it for now. I know this is a long shot, but anyone know any place in south Arkansas or north Louisiana that can repair wheels?

Figures that I would have just ordered an exhaust too. That so pi$$es me off, but its my fault.

Here's a couple pics for you "this thread is useless without pics" guys...

Scary.
I just parked my car. The rim is about an inch away from the curb. It's on a steep *** hill too, so i'm gonna be extra careful when i leave work today.

I've had good experience with Mobile Wheel Repair, but then again I can only speak for the guy I've dealt with in my area. I think they might have some ppl over in Arkansas area: http://www.mobilewheelrepair.com/usa...arkansas.shtml

Might also want to ask the people in your regional forum to get more local references.

And yeah I had some bad rash before that went almost full circle around the lip and after fix, couldn't even tell it was ever damaged, although yours is on the spoke itself, dont know if that makes it harder.

Coolblue, thanks so much man. I will definately look into those guys. The pictures of their work is amazing. Can you give me an idea of what you paid to get yours repaired?

My bad one was about $130, but like I said all my damage was on the lip and yours is spread over to the spoke so not sure if that'll make a difference.

That sucks man, but is often a part of life for people with lower profile tires. With my 30 series I'm real paranoid.

D amn that's easy to do with these cars, especially when you've not had experience with the possibility of it happening.

Your dealer should be able to take care of that. I was quoted 100-200 a wheel.

Thanks so much for all the input guys. I've called around to every where I can think of this morning. The local Nissan dealer didnt even know that these wheels could be repaired...why am i not suprised . All the local wheel and tire shops are just interested in selling me some new wheels because they are telling me that noone can repair curb damage. I called the mobile wheel repair place that coolblue mentioned and it looks like they are going to be my best hope. I talked to a guy in Little Rock and he said I have two options. Either repair my wheel for 80 bucks or he can get me a repaired wheel for 160 bucks installed. He said he would go ahead and get a wheel coming just in case my damage is too extensive to repair. So i'm still hopeful that I can get this thing repaired. Once again thanks for everyone's input.
