...well, I don't know if anyone else has had to go through this, but there appears to be no new Bridgestone Potenza Re040 225/50/17 tires anywhere. This is great, I bought a car for which it takes a month to get a replacement stock front tire
Does anyone know by any chance of a place that has one in stock. The Bridgestone dealers in town all say that the only warehouse that stocks that tire is in California, and that they are on a month of backorder (16 tires to be exact). Tirerack.com has the rears in stock (235/50/17) but are also on a month of backorder for the front. Has anyone else had to go through this?? Anybody have any info that can help me out. I got a slow leaking flat while driving on the freeway, and by the time I noticed it was too late (there was already damage to the tire). I just can't believe that Nissan would sell a car to which there are no readily available replacement tires, and that Bridgestone would also only have enough tires around to supply the automanufacturers, but not the actual customers. And it's not like it's just some chep-o tire. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I can help you. I have stock tires for sale cheap (gotta get 'em out of my garage). I will split them up.
