Default Just got my SSR GT2s - 4th set of wheels

I just picked up my SSR GT-2s last night - my 4th set of wheels in 5 weeks of having the Z. I guess I just love rims! I'll post some pics tonight but they're 19x9 front (+31) 19.10.5 (+43) rear with GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3.

The rims I had before these were stock 17s, rays g35 19", enkei pk6s 18"s, and now SSR GT2s (which I'm hoping to keep for a really long time) I really like the way the 5 spoke wheels look on the Z

Gotta love forged rims

Yay finally real pictures! But sorry they sux because it's snowing hard outside haha.

Philude - they're 21.2 lbs in the front (19x9) and 22.5 lbs (19x10.5) in the back.

LOVE those wheels. I think I like them better than the comps.

I'm worried about rubbing when I dropped so I don't know if I want to put spacers on. I do have a set of 30mm projhect kics and a set of 25mm H&R and I'm debating if I should put the H&Rs on or sell them both lol.

wait, will they actually fit? i wouldn't think thye would have inner clearance, especially on the 10.5 rear...

where did you buy them? were they from a different kind of car?

Yeah they fit perfectly. I bought them from a fellow Z owner on the forum. He had them on his car in September then didn't drive the car at all since November so it's just been sitting there. I didn't see any clearance problem but then again I haven't driven on it yet. I do trust the gentlemen that sold me the rims though. He bought a new lotus exige plus he also built up his own and the only running V6 miata so yeah...he know what he's doing

If anything I do have the rear spacers. Do you guys think I should put the 25mm H&Rs in the rear? Front seems to sit pretty flush so I don't think it's necessary in the front.

I don't wanna roll my fenders. That's what I'm wondering too, if I drop it and use spacers am I gonna start rubbing and force to roll my fenders. I guess we'll see lol

I just got those same wheels myself from Tirerack. You will need a spacer in the back especially if you are lowered because of the increase in camber. I myself have a 15mm spacer and running a 305/30 series tire with no problem, it is actually flushed with the fender however you might need to hammer the fender a few mm's out unless you will run like a 275 or 285 tire.

nice wheels...too bad the offsets of the wheels are a little bit on the conservative side....you will not rub with that offset even if you drop it.

haha ok sweet well I'll be putting on 25mm H&R spacers in the rears then. I really want it to sit flush with fenders. I'm running 285 in the back so it should be no problem with the 25mm right?

Yeah I was about to say, you need spacers, but nevermind. These wheels are a fav. of mine, I would have had them but the offset was less than attractive. With the right spacers they will look HOT. Get up some pics.

Nice wheels. You got these used off another local guy, right?

You'll definitely want to run the 25mm spacers in the rear. It will look retarded with a +43 offset. You should run some 10mm spacers in the front also, as +31 will also be tucked in there.

I'm on my 7th set now, so I understand how it is. Since we can't afford to change cars that often, I guess wheels are the next best thing...

My guess is you'll rub in the back with a 10.5 +18 and a 285, but a roll should fix that right up
