What tire is the best for street?

Guys, I come across of chosing tires again, I use to have T1R from Toyo..they are great but they use up a little fast. So any other suggestion for street use? I want to have something last a little longer and same time have a good grip.

I just got my volks on today with kdw-2s and I LOVE them, they seem much more responsive than my t1rs. Could be because toyo is notorious for soft sidewalls.
