Default SSR GT1's on my Z!!!

got a set of 18" (8" front/ 9" rear) SSR GT1's off of ebay for about $1500 including shipping. they came with some crappy Dunlop FM901's on them... figure I can run those into the ground since it's summer time soon anyway, and switch in some pole position S03's in the winter.

had them delivered to my work since I paid COD because I wanted to check them out before handing over the kizash...

sorry, can't seem to figure out how to post multiple pics in one post...

here they are sitting in my office.

last one...

sorry for the crappy pics...

BTW, I absolutely fricking love the look and not much difference in ride feel either...

now if I can just find a way to secure them on there without putting 5 different wheel locks on... oh well, guess that's what insurance is for, right?

oh yeah, saw about three sets of SSR GT3's on ebay too for anywhere from $1000 to $1500 without tires... they were the wrong offsets, but keep checking and you might get lucky.

my spending for this car has officially taken a sabbatical... gotta draw the line somewhere.

I know the pictures suck... sorry... I'll see if I can't take better shots this weekend.

the wheels come with a lip on the GT3's but I opted for the GT1's since the whole wheel is semi-forged.

I think the offsets were 38 all the way around... I'm pretty sure that's what the tirerack recommends... nonetheless, I'm not sure if they're anymore tucked in than my stock wheels and tires were (could be wrong) but the negative camber on the rear wheels and tires is seemingly more noticeable. I'll have them look at that when I take my car in for the window streak TSB and my drift problem.

oh and my garage isn't that big, at least not my half of it... I had to wait until the neighbor's car was gone...

snoop, you and me both... I would love to have the INGS spoiler, but it would cost about a grand to purchase, paint and install on my car and that to me is way too much at this point for just a spoiler... besides I've got to stop spending $$$ on this car.

I hear ya... you have been buying a lot of mods lately... and yea a grand is WAY too much for spoiler... better off getting an exhaust or leather seats??? hehe...

But yea Masta.. great deal on those rims!!! you gotta send me some higher res pix... or better yet, maybe I should just see them in person?

hehe
