Default BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2

Ok so ive been reading alot online about these tires BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 so i figure what the heck ill go out and buy some since i need 2 rear tires.. i get to NTB and they price match tire rack for me but the kid at the counter says these are the worst tires hes ever had...he drives a focus svt and he would aparently lose traction in the rear like he was drifting......He said if i was in FLA or AZ he would sell me these tires but the roads up here in ohio are different?!?! lol so for you all that have had these tires on the Z let me know your opinion on these tires and if you would recomend them..if not please recomend what you would use instead. Thanks!

I have them, love them- a little noisy, hold the pavement very well, and they look good.

+1 on noise. I cant use my bluetooth earpiece sometimes because of all the racket people hear on the other end. Overall a good tire though! No complaints aside from the noise!

I had some, they were fine. I switched to nitto neo gens though. I feel they grip a tad better but kdw's are a nice tire.

How many miles did you get out of the rear KDWs? How many miles do you have on the Neo Gens? I am currently considering these two tires.

Don't take advice from a Focus driver. They are great tires.

Also, why can't I find any 255/35/19 BF on there website? Do they exist?

Sure they do. I run 255/35/19 up front and 285/35/19 in rear on 19x9.5 F and 19x10.5 R.

These tires are real good compared to some other tires especially considering their 300 AA tread rating. Pretty good for a performance tire. +1 on Kinda loud, but not unbearable.

I have the kdw-2's 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 and I think they are one of the best bang/buck tires out there.

I love them... I have had mine on for about 10K+/-... They grip really well in the rain... Which was one thing that I like about them... I like the rim protector - saved my wheels numerous times... They can be a tad bit loud depending on the type of pavement you are driving on...

How loud are they compared to the stock Bridgestones? Louder? About the same? A little quieter?

I have them and love them - I normally just drive on the street with them, but in wet weather conditions I use them for AutoX. In all, they stick fairly well, and have a predictable break point...they're great for the streets (except road noise) and do decently at AutoX.

*I know 1 other G35 driver that doesn't like them...he says that in the rain he feels like he hydro-plains; but the freeways in Seattle are terrible...he's also FI.

Yea, don't worry about them. It's probably a part time job for him, that he'll leave next week. Some salesmen think they know more than the customer.

Default Goodrich tires

Well they are a good bang for the buck but I also found that on wet roads they weren't potenzas.....on the other hand they are no way near as much money and i even got through the winter with them...although where i live there is rarely more than 1 inch of snow on the road. I do like the profile of the tread though...all in all a very good tire for the money and hopefully I get more than 18000 Km on them which is all i got on the bridgestones.

I have 275/40/18s on the back on stock 06 rims. The hook up well on the street. But launching at the drag strip with them they just go up in smoke...

These tires are fackin loud, but if you can get over it or used to it, they are VERY nice tires. Very fun, very sticky .

They're some pretty good wet tires!

Come to Columbus and you can try them on my Z (235/40R18 255/40R18).
